What is the role of our Gynecologic Oncologists?
Our gynecologic oncology team provides a comprehensive approach to diagnosing and surgically treating both cancerous and noncancerous (benign) conditions of the female reproductive system. These conditions include cervical cancer, endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cancer, pelvic masses, uterine cancer, vaginal cancer, and vulvar cancer.

Your doctor will discuss a wide range of effective and innovative treatment options with you. Our gynecologic oncology surgeons specialize in complex robotic techniques, fertility-sparing surgery, and risk-reducing procedures for inherited cancer syndromes:
Robotic Surgery : This minimally invasive technique offers significant benefits, including shorter hospital stays, reduced discomfort, and faster recovery. Robotic surgery enhances surgical precision and accuracy while minimizing trauma to surrounding tissues. This less invasive alternative to hysterectomy and myomectomy, requiring no cutting of uterine tissue. Most women typically return to normal activities within 7 days.
Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy: Our providers have extensive experience and expertise in managing chemotherapy and immunotherapy. We have an in-office infusion suite which provide personalization and convenience to alleviate additional emotional burden.
Coordination of Care
Our team of gynecologic oncologists collaborates closely with specialists, including radiation oncology. They stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and research in gynecologic oncology to tailor each woman’s treatment. With years of advanced training, our doctors ensure that chemotherapy and radiation therapy are managed in close partnership with radiation oncology experts.
