Gynecologic Oncologist

Dr. Recio is an enthusiastic and dedicated Gynecologic Oncologist who has recently joined the team at South Florida Center for Gynecologic Oncology. With a fresh perspective and a passion for advancing women’s health, Dr. Recio specializes in the treatment of Gynecologic cancers, including ovarian, uterine, cervical, and vulvar cancers. He brings a strong foundation in the latest treatment protocols and a commitment to delivering personalized care to each of his patients in South Florida.

Dr. Recio completed his medical education at Stony Brook University School of Medicine, followed by a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Buffalo. He then completed a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at AdventHealth in Orlando, where he honed his expertise in both surgical and non-surgical approaches to treating gynecologic cancers. During his training, Dr. Recio worked closely with leading experts in the field and has gained invaluable experience in treating complex cases.

Dr. Recio is already at the forefront of the latest treatments and technologies in Gynecologic Oncology. He integrates cutting-edge advances in minimally invasive surgery, targeted therapies, and immunotherapy to offer his patients the most effective and advanced care available.
